High-Power Drawer-Type COC Burn-In System

Designed for high-power DFB, EML, and EML-SOA chips, this system performs aging screening and lifetime reliability analysis. It supports constant-current (LD & SOA) and constant-voltage (EA) synchronous output, allowing real-time monitoring of current, voltage, optical power, and temperature, with automatic determination of device failure status. Data can be stored locally or remotely, enabling failure analysis and traceability.

  • Each channel is equipped with independent constant-current and constant-voltage sources.
  • TEC + water cooling dual control, temperature range: 25~120℃.
  • Supports front or back optical power monitoring; front optical monitoring uses partial light collection design.
  • COC temperature online monitoring supported (requires NTC-equipped COC).
  • Flexible support for multiple chip types (DFB / EML / Tunable COC) via interchangeable fixtures.
  • Single drawer supports 2 fishbone fixtures, each fixture accommodating up to 48 units.
  • Built-in LIV scanning curve with multiple algorithms for Ith calculation.
  • Nitrogen purging protection for hermetic COC aging.
  • 40 independent drawer units, each with independent temperature control and parameter settings.
  • Optional UPS backup, maintaining system operation for 30 minutes during sudden power failure.
  • Drawers equipped with automatic locking mechanism and in-place detection to prevent accidental removal.
  • Dual hardware and software over-temperature protection.
  • Each drawer includes an EEPROM for storing drawer ID, insertion count, and production information.
  • Built-in EOS (Electrical Overstress Protection) to ensure safe and stable device aging.
